Oncopartners Overview
Meeting the Challenge of Phase II and III Clinical Oncology Development and Investigator Initiated Studies
Rapid enrolling high quality studies - The rapid expansion of international oncology clinical trials has far exceeded the capacity of leading research centers in Europe and North America resulting in slower patient accrual, longer study timelines and escalating study costs per patient. Working with Oncopartners you can expect to achieve accelerated patient enrollment in a research environment which meets the highest international standards for quality and data integrity.
Robust Patient Population - Oncopartners, in partnership with IBPC (Instituto Brasileiro de Pesquisa em Cāncer) has established a new strategy for enhancing global clinical oncology research by providing sponsors with well-controlled access to Brazil's extensive patient population. Eighty percent of Brazil's population of 190 million is served by the public healthcare system. IBPC is a non-profit entity comprised of highly-experienced oncology clinical researchers at eighteen of the largest public cancer hospitals in Brazil. IBPC Investigators include Brazil's leading oncologists and are highly motivated to participate in research that offers access to treatments and compounds otherwise unavailable through the public system's formulary.
Unique Operational Partnership - With a mission to foster oncology drug development and expanded access to new therapies in Brazil, IBPC works in concert with Oncopartners and has developed a unique contractual and operational structure which offers to its member public hospitals direct staff, infrastructure and oversight support for international clinical research. IBPC has entered into an exclusive worldwide partnership with Oncopartners to build and manage its research infrastructure and to develop and manage all business and contractual relationships with international pharmaceutical, biotechnology and CRO sponsors.
Strong Support and Experience - With offices in São Paulo, Brazil and the United States, Oncopartners has made substantial investments in the operational infrastructure and teams supporting IBPC in Brazil and in North America. As you review our service offerings, meet our team, which includes 4 staff physicians (3 of whom are oncologists), and Investigators you will learn how we at Oncopartners respond to the growing need for high performing oncology investigative sites and complement IBPC's mission to provide you, our clients, with accelerated patient enrollment and provision of high quality data.
